 Angry

I love the phone, but for some reason it will reboot out of the blue, ill be on the phone or during a text or just sitting on my desk at work doing nothing! other than some wall papers, its still factory default, and I cant seem to see a reason why this is happening.

Anyone have any hints or tips how to get this to stop? it might become the worlds first airborne versa soon!

i would try to get a new phone. just go to verizon and theyll activate it right there for you. if there out of stock, they mail it to you for free and you simply mail the old one back.

That was the problem with my Voyager...
After 6 replacements they traded it for the Versa I have now...
I called VZW yesterday, It's true about the firmware update
I'm dropping my phone off b4 brunch with the family & picking it up after
So, I'd start with a firmware flash if I was you.

You still need to go into the store, can't use the phone's over-the-air programing yet...

Did you jinx me?  I read this yesterday and had not had an issue.

This morning mine is rebooting too!   3 Times so far.  I have it on vibrate at work and I've heard it vibrate so I look at it and the Verizon logo is on the small keyboard screen meaning its booting up.

Perhaps it has done this before and I just didn't notice?  Either way it obviously is more frequent today.

I haven't upgraded to 3 yet either.

Since upgrading to V03 I haven't had a single issue with my Versa..  Its been less than a week but I'm beyond my normal window to have problems..

I'm very happy with the Versa at this point..

Most of my freeze-ups tend to be after reaching my destination while using VZNav
Still happens over 50% of the time with V03

I would say new phone then, you should not have that problem. Go show it to verizon and keep all acesories with this one so you have extras. all verizon needs back is the box and battery and back cover. just say you lost he other stuff worked for me!

Good idea! I'll talk to my tech when I get a free day from work, or a long lunch
Thanks
