Not really theres stuff you can do but the term "unlocking" has no refrence here.

Unlocking your phone usually refers to removing the "lock" on the phone that only allows it to work on Verizon's network.  If you unlock it, you can take it to a GSM Carrier and get your service through them.

except the fact that the phone is cdma and cannot receive a GSM signal whatsoever unless you rebuilt the hardware of the phone
