Press "send" from any homescreen (or go to your "Recent Calls" menu), tap on "All Calls" at the top and select the "Calls By Person" option.
Like the thread messaging is to contacts, you can view all call history per person.
I may be the last person to notice this, but I thought I'd post it since I hadn't read it anywhere.

I didn't know that and that is really cool.  Sometimes I need to look at when I made a call to a specific person and that can really help with not wading through all the calls.

the only thing is that it doesnt stay that way. when i got out and went back it had reverted to the previous setting
