Just a forewarning, I am far from an expert on this menu. Going through it, these are the first ideas I have when looking at the different variables and what they are set to. I could be very wrong about all of this. It is just speculation on my part, so take everything I say with a grain of salt. I would not advise you to change any of these settings EVER because this menu is hidden for a reason. If you do, however, these defaults should get you back on track if your phone fails to work afterwards. Anyways, upon first glance through the service menu, the WAP Settings and the Media Center Settings seem to pique the most interest to me.
The WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) settings refer to the gateway your phone uses to get on the Internet. If you change this, you can essentially bypass Verizon's Servers for Internet access. Whether or not they can track your data usage and charge you for that, I am not sure. I currently do not have the Internet plan with VZW, so I may play around with it a little bit and see if I get charged next month. If you do attempt to change your WAP, you would obviously need to change the WAP Ports as well as the Proxy address to match your new WAP. The WAP Proxy Servers I have used years ago did not require a username or password, so I would probably erase though as well. Regardless of whether or not you plan on using Verizon for your Internet service, you can change what homepage you want to load by changing the homepage variable.
The Media Center Settings appear to link to Verizon's Applications Store which makes it very interesting for those looking to add apps to their phone. It provides the servers that link to the Apps store. I don't know if you could mirror an apps store and change the direction to point to your own, but I can guarantee it would be a great deal of work. It's interesting that there are no DNS servers, as those are used to translate sites like google.com to their IP address such as 74.125.67.100. Platform ID probable refers to the LG Versa itself or for which version software it is currently running. Carrier ID most likely refers to Verizon Wireless, but it might be broken down demographically. It will be interesting to see if everyone has the same Platform and Carrier ID as me. Application Policy Flag probably refers to allowing the phone to use BREW applications or whatever the Carrier allows (which coincidentally, is BREW). Subscriber ID probably links to your personal account for tracking what applications/games you download (which is why I will not provide mine

). Prepaid is set to Off, but those that are on a prepay service with this phone will find this on. BrewDir SMS Teleservice and Get it Now set to 0 confuse me. I would think they would be set to 1 to enable you to use them, but that's just a guess.
