Okay when I plug my phone into the computer via USB cable it came with, it does not sync to my computer when I click "Sync" in "My Music".

I've done everything up to step 3 correctly, installed the driver and everything.

My Versa came with no CD which they said it wasn't suppose to.

Why is my phone just sitting at "Connecting..." when I hit Sync?

NewEgg and Amazon  have a lot of choices for MicroSD cards and readers. You might be able to find a couple cheaper elsewhere, but you won't get robbed on it like from Verizon.

I bought my 8 GB MicroSD card on eBay from someone in Canada. I payed $15.01 for it, shipped. It got here pretty quickly too for having just come regular post.

I use the latest Windows Media Player and a USB cable to put music on my phone. When I first tried it on this phone, somehow it was set to automatically sync and it was going to try to put every piece of media (video, photo, audio) on my entire computer on the phone! I found the option to turn that off and selected just the items I wanted to put on it. The only problem I run into is that it will not accept any music file with any diacritical letters in the title, artist name, file name, and so forth. I had to rename a lot of songs and change the tags on them (especially a lot of Swedish titles, so now they look misspelled to me, but since I'm listening to it and not reading it, it shouldn't bother me too badly) to get them to transfer.

Fry's was running a sale a couple of weeks ago and I didn't believe it until I saw it with my own eyes.
16GB micro HCSD card for $49.99
I bought 2 of them, one for my Versa and one for my girlfriend's.
Formatted it and the phone sees ~14.8GB
I know when the Voyager came out there were problems with the phone seeing the full capacity of the card, but that issue was resolved.
I was just glad that the 16GB one I purchased works with no major problems on my Versa.
In my experience, as the size of the card increases, the less available space there is for downloading, but come on; the phone ate up just over a Gig of card memory on my 16GB.  Does that seem right to anyone???  What I mean is, theoretically, the Versa would read an 8GB and eat up ~600 Mb since it is half the size of the 16GB card.  Can anyone confirm that their 8GB card only has ~7.4 Gigs available?

The thing is that when you buy a card or a hard drive that claims to be 16 GB, what they really mean is that it's 16,000,000,000 bytes (14.9 GB), not 17,179,869,184 bytes, which is 16 GB. A GB is actually 1,073,741,824 bytes, unless you're talking about capacity. Confusing, I know.

Another thing to remember with the Versa is that it says everywhere that works with MicroSD, but never really claims to be compatible with MicroSDHC, which it is. Just something some people may end up searching/questioning before buying add-on cards.
