I had the same freezing porblem in my text messages and missed calls and it happened after I changed to reminder of 15 min. I took it to verizon and they said that the new software update will fix it. I havent tried that out, but if it does not work, then I will change my reminder options to once

Even with alerts off if I receive an voicemail or text the phone goes to where they are and remains there until it drains the battery.  This happened to me last week........out of town for a week.......apparently received some voicemail.......phone stayed on voicemail until the battery ran totally out.  Very irritating.
