So what’s the verdict on the best screen protector?
I’ve tried the Invisishield and it’s not for me, so let’s take it out of the equation all together.
What else would you recommend?
I’m looking for:
1.   Not a universal/cut-to-fit
2.   Best screen coverage (edge to edge)
3.   Best anti-glare
4.   Most scratch resistant
5.   Least interference with touchscreen

The screen protectors I purchased were teriblile, but I will let you know if I come across a good one.

Thanks JhnGard, much appreciated!
For now I am using a universal GPS-Anti glare one.
It's doing the job, but getting a little scratched from my stylus.
Hopefully Verizon will make a Versa one soon!

JhnGard:

I purchased the same ones, but didn't install them yet. Should I stay away?

I have a unique view of the invisible shield.

I have their product on 2 devices. an Ipod touch, and my versa.

For my Ipod touch, IVS is probably the best investment i ever made for it.  PERIOD It works flawlessly and protects the entire device from scratches.  It is admittedly pretty hard to get it installed properly. I used to do custom tinting on cars and it definately doesn't *Slide* much when installing it to make for an easy fit. I've had my IVS on the touch for almost 8 months and i have no issues at all. (it does grab a little when new) but the touchscreen has no problems at all.

For the Versa, I'll agree that it's not the ideal, but still worth the investment. It will prevent your screen from getting damaged, but may cause you some trouble with the touchscreen. But so far i don't see a problem because it does what it says, it protects the screen.

Now i can pretty much guarentee why there is such a difference between the 2 products. They are exactly the same material, but the type of touchscreen is different.

Capacitive VS. Resistive

the Versa requires pressure or a "Push" to register a "Touch"  while the Ipod only requires an actual touch (electrically detected).

The difference lies here, the thickness of the product on a Versa causes the layer of film to compress as well as the screen, which means you need to press a little harder to get there, and a stylus will dig in a little making it feel like it's dragging some.

The second issue is that the type of material chosen (vinal sp) while highly resistant and durable, is also a bit tacky when clean and new. which can cause your *Slide* motions to bounce/skip registering as presses instead of slides.

So here's the thing,

The Protection it offers is insane, I've tried causing it harm and the layer is still pristine. Over time my Ipod has mellowed on the "Grabbing" and works flawlessly (especially when it's a little greasy, fingerprints anyone?). I just put the IVS on my brand new versa yesterday, and wow does it make the screen a bit tougher to use.  But just like my ipod, i bet it will mellow with use.

I plan to leave mine on for a month or 2 to see what happens, based on my awesome experience with them on the ipod.

For those of you who do not want to use the QWERTY attachment on your Versa i also reccomend them as they offer unparalleled protection. However if you plan on using the QWERTY, you won't need that protection as much because the screen will be covered most of the time, and you can settle with a lesser protective film.

You need to get Quality Acrylic covers like the one it come from the factory with.
When you get the phone cut the little tag off the screen protector and voila screen protected works for months untill you accidentaly fold it!
If you have to get a protector make shure its not vinal like material or it will grab when you slide your finger.
Also no adhesive! you will regret it my friend! Holds dirt on the screen around the edges and scratches.

After going thru a few screen protectors I ended up getting the invisible shield. It is by far the best of the screen protectors I have used. With the update on the Versa I have not had any issues with the touch screen. The only annoying thing about the invisible shield is that it takes so long to put on! I finanly got it on and let it sit over night only to wake up to a huge piece of dust under the protector that will bother me forever. But once I purchase the full body protection it comes with another protector so I will just put that one on.

I just bought the invisible shield full body kit for the Versa this weekend.  It hasn't arrived yet, but I got it shipped for $15 from their memorial day weekend 50% off sale (doubt it's still going on but the promo code is memday09).  I hadn't read any reviews about it before hand, I had only seen their youtube videos showing how ridiculously strong it is.  There are definitely a lot of mixed reviews about it, but I am fairly confident that it will turn out great for my phone.  I guess I will find out this week when it arrives.

i have the invisible shield i love it. i had no problems in installing it just covered it in the spray it comes with and stuck it on keeping it wet i could move it and align it, then squeegeed it dry. i did get dust under it. i didn't wash my hands before.  Sad No problems with it. the life time warranty is great too. as i manages to scratch it some how and it was a simple email for a new one.

Invisible Shield is the WORST EVER!!!!! The bubbles never came out, and the touchscreen looses ALOT of its "traction" and makes the screen look blurry. What a waste of $20!!! DO NOT BUT THIS SCREEN!

+1, +1, +1, +1
I did end up keeping the protector on the OLED (exterior) screen and a couple of month later, it is still exactly the same. . . . I REALLY wish Verizon would make one that fits.  I was REALLY happy with the one I bought, through Verizon, for my Voyager.

i got the 1.50 ones off amazon they are good no texture to them they are similar to the film that the phone comes with except maybe thicker it doesn't interfere with the touch screen i don't have a comparison to the touch screen without a protector so i cant really comment on that aspect felt the same as with the shipping film... colors look good application was easy no bubbles comes with squeegee to apply it and a lint free cleaning cloth.

I would get it again. too bad on the 4 dollar shipping...

Okay, I'm convinced that there are 2 different Invisible Shields for the Versa . . . . It's the only logical conclusion that I can think of, as I have tried it personally and hated it.

Many members experienced the exact same as I did:
It's difficult to apply, causes bubbles and streaks and once applied, causes severe issues when navigating/dragging your finger on the screen.  FYI: I bought mine from Best Buy.

My guess is that there is another available that is "loved" by so many other members on this site.

I am willing to give the Invisible Shield one more shot if I can get my hands on the exact one that works well.
Can the people that have this screen protector and love it please provide the exact link of the seller you purchased the product from?  Also, it this the one that covers only the screen, or the one that also includes a piece for the back?

well i got mine on line.  but by saying there is 2 kinds here is what i have found.  i had one and it scratched. that one was kinda soft feeling, also was a bit sticker.  This is compared to the replacement one i got and one that i have on a Samsung P2.The P2 has an entirely different type of touch screen.
