New Qwerty?

Give them the part # he posted above. If the first person you talked to can't find it try someone else verison CS reps are not created equil. Maybe have them order it and if it the wrong one return it.

So, apparently the one that's one the website for 30 bucks IS the new keypad.  I ordered it yesterday around 1:30, got an email at 2:10 saying my order had been processed, and was already in FedEx hands, with a tracking number!  Got it this morning at 10:30, now that's service!  Anyway, opened it up, and its the new qwerty, and its very nice!  I can post pics or any other information if y'all want, but there's already a few up, not sure what I could tell y'all that you don't already know...

Anyway, this was indeed the one that you can order off the website under Accessories, for 29.99, no need to special order or anything.  Part # is the same, LG9600QWRTY1, though the side of the package reads "9600-QWRTY1-2", which may indicate that its the second revision...?  Regardless, order away.  In addition to shipping it to me that fast, it includes a prepaid return label that expires after 30 days, should I want to send it back.  So, there's absolutely no reason to bother going to your store for this, especially if your store is anything like mine...

Additionally, as others have reported, it does feel and smell like real leather, though I do understand the quality of synthetics these days.  However, the side of the package says, "Your Premium Qwerty keypad is made of premium leather, which is a natural material that might crack, fade, or shrink over time.  Thus, the proper care of the leather is important."  So while it doesn't specifically say "Genuine Leather Article" or somesuch, I don't see how it can be anything less than real leather.

Overall, I'm very happy with it, as I was disappointed that I got one of the first Versas to come without a keypad, and now am very glad that I was able to wait for what should be a much better product.  If there's anything else anyone would like to know, or possibly see, let me know!

I just bought the new qwerty today. It's leather is really nice and has a great feel to it. they raised the price to $49.99, but its worth every penny. As for actual change besides cosmetic features, i cant find any. 

I was wondering, could someone post a picture? i jus bought the versa over the weekend and i dnt know if my keyboard is the new one. The versa i bought came with a keyboard but dnt knw if its da new one
