New Qwerty?

Well im sorry for the VERY BAD PICS... It was a QUICK photo due to the fact the lady i was dealing with was GRUMPY and i didn't want to tick her off more then i had too since i had her go to the back room for it (since my verizon is in the mall). At least i was able to get the photos since everyone likes to know about all the new accessories that come out for this thing. Sorry there not good enough for YOU. Other then that the qwerty keypad reminds me of a mans wallet. And yes, its still brown and soft (very slick). I would be more in favor of a slider keypad in my honest... HONEST opinion. Just so you know, this keypad ran 39.99.

SORRY, i didn't get a photo of the keys, due to the fact its the same layout. The grumpy lady told me that the only reason why they got this in, is due to the fact that they are not selling the versa with the keyboard anymore.

I was just trying to motivate someone who buys this to post. Thanks for posting them here but don't you think you should post here first? We appreciate it more than hofo don't we? I undersatnd just how grumpy verizon reps can be, and that its difficult to get a good non blured pic indoors. Thanks for sharing!

Yeah i can see the melted seam now along the edge of the hinge i thought it might be stitching for a bit...

I hope a 3rd party comes out with a brushed metal one or a real leather one...

i carry 3 things and all of them look similar to that Leather wallet leather, clad ipod touch, now the versa...

Lol! thanks guys! I nearly lost it when she told me it was 39.99... i was like FOR REAL? the one online (the one that came with the versa at first) is only 29.99. and so is the game pad. Now if they came out with a pink, purple, or black..Metal...or maybe even a different color qwerty i can see spending the extra 39.99. or maybe even a SLIDER... i would spend it. but not for a smooth looking pleather qwerty....in BROWN....

Honestly, I suppose that this is a one of a kind case.
Not that there aren't others, but it may just be a limited production supplement for the standard one.
Without a product ID/code (LG9600XXXX), it’s kind of hard to say for sure.
If we could get a look at the inside of the product, or see the Module Homescreen looks like with the keyboard attached, it would then be safe to say that it is a new qwerty.
I'd like to know if anyone else has seen this keyboard in their local store.
If so, try and snag the product code or a photo of the inside, etc.
That way, we can call CS and tie it to Verizon's inventory.
If more start showing up, I'd have to agree that this is a "new qwerty keyboard," but for the time being, I'm not convinced that this is a new attachment.

Someone should go to a Verizon store that has them in stock and ask if they can plug them in to their Versa and "try it out", I know they'll probably let you, I remember a Verizon rep. let me try out the gamepad module the day it came out. Doing this they can see whether the module menu or any part of the phone's software is any different with the "new" qwerty keyboard attached.
