I have the old keyboard and thought i might buy the premium one so i decided to take my old one and take all the leather off and then spray paint it white it didn't turn out the best but over all i like it just thought you guys might want to see:

COOL! I have considered doing a similar thing to mine. Was it hard to get the pleather off? Looks like you only got it off the frount. Does it look bad without the pleather b4 you painted it?

It was pretty hard to take off because after you get the leather off it has left over glue that takes forever to rub off, it actually doesn't look terrible when the leather is off, and i only got the first layer of leather off on the back and i left the one layer so i didn't have to deal with glue again

Sounds like you need some type of solvent to take the glue off.

Always looking out for ways to customize the Versa, a white qwerty module or (dreaming here) chrome would be rad.  Cool

whoa whoa, there is a 'premium' keyboard? I've been looking all over for an alternative to the one that I see everywhere. I think the brown pleather/1997 lcd look is, well, awful.  Is there a premium version?? Please tell me yes!!
