My string got pulled out from the top of my stylus. I called LG and they said that they do not warranty the stylus and that they are no longer carrying/stocking them. I made a point to mention that the attached stylus was a big selling feature for the Versa (to me anyway) and all I got was, "Sorry, we don't warranty the stylus". Anyone have any ideas about getting a replacement stylus? I've looked at just getting one from some place else, however, it would not be like the original one that came with the Versa, of course.

what do you want a stylus for?
it's easy enough to use your finger
if you want more accurate pressing, use a pen or pencil.
you could probably buy a nintendo ds or something stylus for like 2 or 3 bucks.

you should be clearer you want a new stylus that you can attach to your phone like the orginal not one you have to hold onto and hope you dont loose it...
I would look on amazon or somewhere like that. keep in mind you only need a hard plastic tip to touch the screen a tooth pick would work...

After the rebate I find myself using the stylus less and less, Do you have the update?
I would recomend superglue to fix the original problem w/ your stylus, buy a nintendo ds stylus or find someone who like me never uses their stylus because they see it as and insult to people with big hands to include a stylus 2 inches long. If you give me your address and a cookie I will send you one of mine. I kept one when I returned the phone so I have double styluses and back covers.

Thanks for the info and I apologize for not being clearer. The superglue might work, however, I'm not sure what happened with the string/loop. Lunas, if you have an extra one that would be great. A stylus still comes in handy when surfing the web. I have the 03 update, however, I've had two "black screen" lockups while listening to music and getting a voicemail or text message. The small screen worked, but the main screen was blank and black and I had to pop the battery out to regain access. Guess I will post that in the "Problem Section"?
Lunas, I would be willing to pay the shipping if you would be willing to send me ur extra stylus. Let me know.

I know I may pick one up aswell. I use pens alot to play games but find my finger nail is my weapon of choice for everything else.

Since I'm new to the Versa I feel I have license to ask dumb questions for a week or so  . How does everyone keep up with that tiny stylus? I can see myself losing it within 10 days.

My dog ate my first onein a week, I returned the phone due to a malfunctioning keyboard so I kept my accesories.(stylus, back cover, charger) the second one got lost in my car and has been missing since week two. But you know what I always have a retractable pen in every room of my house and in my car so that works for me. But there is reason not to buy a 10 pack and keep one handy everywhere. Having one hang from my phone is oot of the question. To me having it attatched pushes the versa over the line of too bulky, especialy since I always have my qwerty attatched.
