i think the sliding keypad and the keypad on the front of the case could both work pretty well. these are just my opinions:
numeric keypad on the front: it would pretty much be like env external screen status.. screen on the front with a numeric keypad. because for me.. i always like to keep the keyboard attached because 1) i text quite a bit and its easier to use physical keys, 2) it acts like a case, and 3) i just think it looks cute. but it does get pretty annoying when i want to listen to voicemail, dial a number (speed dial even), etc etc because i need access to the dialpad but i have to keep the phone open in order to do so. so again.. it would be cool to have a dialpad on the front of the phone case for more convenience. also if that were to happen.. verizon should make it so that we could actually view missed calls and text messages on the screen.. just like the env (we dont even need the whole menu crap shown on the front screen.. just probably calls, address book, and texts). that would be way awesome and make life so much easier in my opinion. cause again.. it does get a little annoying when i have to open my phone up to see who called or just to view a simple text message. so yes yes. verizon should still keep the same faux brown leather design.. but just add some keys on the front.. and still keep the same monochromatic screen (people who bought the versa.. we knew what sort of external screen to expect so im sure we can all be happy campers about the ex. screen staying monochromatic

)
sliding keypad: again.. another cool idea. it could be the same concept as the gaming pad.. but obviously with a qwerty keyboard. some people bought the versa because they liked the concept of the phone being a dare and voyager combined. and some reviews i've read.. people love the versa (features, size, etc) and the fact that it has a keyboard attachment.. but they either dont like the attachment design or they just want to carry the phone itself but still want to have some sort of physical keypad. so in this instance.. sliding keyboard would be best. people that like the look of the versa can also enjoy the convenience of faster texting with a slide-out keyboard. and also.. people can enjoy the fact that it would just make their lives easier because they have full access to their phones touch screen. the only change i would make.. is that on the gaming pad sold at the verizon store.. it does have a whole cut out in the back for the speakers and the camera.. but when its slid out, the flash gets covered.. so they should try to find a solution for that so that nothing gets covered. other than that.. same design and color scheme (and i know some people who looked at the gaming pad said that it looked flimsy.. well the keyboard attachment is pretty flimsy to begin with so im sure it'll still feel fine)
so yeah.. do those make sense? (hahah its pretty late and my mind is pretty out there at the moment haha). like.. i see both options to be very convenient for so many people. and from what i reading from this post.. if verzion were to make some new keypads.. people would be more than happy to buy them. that would bring them more profit the way i see it. so yeah.. i mean.. i just think it would be so sweet if they came out with these sort of stuff. because it would really suck if they made a 'versa 2' and made the keyboards for those and its not available to buy for the current versa users. that would really suck big time. so yes yes. hopefully verizon pays attention to these sort of ideas and comments from customers so that we could love them even more. i mean.. its not too much to ask for, right? and plus.. it'll be way more idealistic to produce more keyboards instead of some random gaming pads to play those demo games on our phones. again.. we'd be bringing them more profit so hopefully in the (soon) future they'll make more attachable keyboards!
and if anybody hears anything more about keyboards.. it should be posted here immediately!!
thats all
