What OS do you have?
I'm running Leopard personally and don't know much about Tiger.
I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't work with Tiger though.
I regularly transfer photos, music and videos with no problems whatsoever via Bluetooth as well as USB.
I had a little trouble doing the initial Bluetooth pairing with both my girlfriend's Versa and mine.
I can't remember if I put the mac in discovery and searched for devices on my phone or visa versa, but one way was easier than the other. (I want to say Mac=Discoverable was easier, but both ways eventually worked)
I also remember having to search and enter the pairing number a couple of times.
It really only took a couple of minutes and a couple of tries.
On the Mac, I can not "browse the device" (device=Versa) via bluetooth on the Mac and I can not "Browse/Get Files" on the Versa. I can however send and receive files flawlessly.
Regarding the USB, simply plug it in and go to Tools & USB Mass Storage. Wait a few seconds and you should see an external hard drive icon appear on your desktop. This method only acts as a card reader, so you must have a card in the phone for USB Mass Storage. Double click and you will find the folder structure for the card.
Reminder: Make sure you right click and "Eject" the icon before you exit the USB Mass storage.
That's about it.
Let me know if you still have any questions.
I am also running Leopard, and I tried Bluetooth and USB connections, both work just fine, but neither allow me to upload mp3 clips to the versa and use them as ringtones- they always end up in the "my sounds" folder no matter how they get there... Any ideas? Tried BITPIM, I've tried to connect it and my phone about a million times now and it never connects properly. I have BitPim version 1.0.7.20081215 which I read on another forum would do the trick, but thus far hasn't worked... Help?
