Hello everyone. I just bought my LG VErsa Tuesday with the unlimited mb premium plan from Verizon. I have played around with it quite a bit, but see there is a whole forum dedicated to it, so I am assuming I have a lot of opitions.

The only thing I have done is used BitPim to make a few ringtones. Thats about it.

Looking forward to other neat things with this awesome phone.

IN.  Just got the Versa and found this site.  So far so good.  Cool phone.

Saw a thread about v4 but v3 seems to work (so no need to change it, right? Grin).

V04 is worth it. Better screen sensitivity and prevention of phone bricking when powering off and on.

Cool.  The next time I get to the Verizon store, I'll see about getting v4 on there, thanks.

Hi everyone!
I'm obviously new here. I just got my Versa about a week ago.My old Samsung was dead and I needed a new phone and I wanted something versatile. (I was initially going to get the Omnia.) After looking around I decided on the Versa.

I'm happy with the phone, but I was looking for a community with info and neat mods and things for my new phone, which I couldn't find until a few hours ago. So, hi! I'm happy I found my way to the forum,

Just bought my Versa yesterday from a Verizon store here in Houston.  It replaced a six year old Samsung standard cell phone.  My reasons for upgrading were mainly to get the Verizon GPSGolfshot and weather applications for when I am out on the golf course.  I considered a BlackBerry, but decided against because the outgoing call quality on the B.B.(s) that I tested were very poor; the Versa was very good.

This is my first 'enhanced' phone so I am appreciative of the forum as a helpful resource.

I did not get the QWERTY keyboard (which was optional extra cost) as I want to try it out as a purely touch device first.

I got the Verizon hard shell snap-on cover which gives the phone a good solid feel (and protects if I drop it out on the golf course).
