2 Versa's for $100 total

I probably shouldn't share my secret with many but...I must say that I love verizon because I get all sorts of deals and credits and adjustments with them (partly because they screw my bill up alot). I have more time than I do money and this seems to work in my favor with vzw customer service

 

  About Me, 23 year old broke grad student and I've had verizon since 2001.  Not sure if its the fact that I have leverage with them, but since about 2003, I haven't purchased a phone for greater than 50 bucks.
I'm a tech junkie so always get the cutting edge phones of the time.  In addition I also usually get a bundle included either the leather case/earpiece/car charger or some variant for like 10 bucks.  I've gone through smart phones, touch screens, flip phones etc. 

 

Anyways,  About how it all started with the Versa....I'm not the primary on the account and so am ineligible for the new every two.  I spoke with vzw over the phone to upgrade the primary line and was able to secure the Versa @ 49.99 (after long talks), then just to test the water  I stated that I would commit to a new contract if i could get an upgrade for my [2nd/personal] line for 49.99 as well. This was approved and 4 days later (weekend
included) I recieved 2 brand new phones for 50 each.  This time around I didn't get Mail In rebates on either phone, nor did I ask for any bundle accessories cuz I'm not that greedy.  I also recieved statement credits of 136 bucks because of a billing error on my account as well as 2 months credit for each phone to try out the VCAST/internet features of the phone.

I have the reciepts and 2 versa's for proof, no need to story tell :-P
 

I get chargebacks/credits on my account for one thing or another it seems like every 6 months or so and alot of the errors are honest mistakes but doesnt mean I should be coming out of pocket for it.  I also have the 18% corporate discount applied to my plan plus 25% off
accessories.   
 

The interesting thing about it all is that i'm never agressive/upset with them, I'm just very firm and diligent in conserving what little money I have and alot of the reps will just throw a credit on my account as a 1 time courtesy for "the headache".  They have great customer service atleast for me anyways.

 

As more versa owners join the site I hope we can get  more active like howard forums.

 

Also anyone know how to adjust the sensitivity of the touch on this screen?

If you're having problems with your actions not registering, I would recalibrate it.
If that's not your problem and you're looking for an actual sensitivity setting, I don't think there is one and you should ignore the following.

To calibrate the screen.
-Touch the Menu button (4 circles) at the bottom
-Touch Settings & Tools (settings if you're on the smart menu variant)
-Touch Touch Settings
-Touch calibration
-Follow the on screen instructions by touching the targets

Your screen will now be calibrated to your personal setting.
