You could also do it with a Macbook using Bluetooth.

Or you can just use the USB cord plugged into your PC and attached to the phone and the phone becomes another drive on the PC.  Drag and drop all you want to.

Go to settings and tools> tools> USB mass storage
This allows you to use you phone essentially as a card reader for your micro sd card. Just plug your phon in and it shows up on your pc like a USB drive.

I used Bitpim to transfer my ringtones to my Versa. It was actually pretty easy to do also and I prefer it over texting. I saw a method in another thread which involved going into the filesystem, but that didn't work for me since it didn't show up in my ringtone list.

What I did was I clicked on the far left icon in Bitpim (Get Phone Data). Once that was done I went to Media > Ringers and dragged my mp3's straight into the window. After that, I clicked on Send Phone Data (To the right of GPD) checked only the ringtone box, set it to Add, and pressed ok.  Grin

And bam, I had Three Days Grace's Riot on my list  Shocked

I tried to make this as clear as poss. so I hope it works Gl!

Here's a garenteed way to have ur own ringtones. Find a song on ur computer, then open that song in a program that can cut files down (like nero), then save the cut song as a new file and make sure it is no more than 500kb otherwise ur phone wont send the text message. place this file into the the my sounds folder on ur phone, then send the file to urself and when u get it save as a ringtone and there u have it. no need to use some website or anything special. this works for any and all songs.

I use www.phonezoo.com and honestly I can say it's legitimate. I've never gotten any weird adware or virus from it. You can create your own or browse through other peoples, although anything marked as copywrited won't show to the public, you'll have to make your own (i.e. from a song).

It sends to you through text message or you can send it to your PC. It's 100% free, too. I didn't have to enter any credit information, just locate my phone type and phone number so it knows where to send the ringtone.
