I have tried to transfer the pictures I have taken on my phone onto my computer, but for some reason, I can't get it to show up on my computer using the USB cable. Is there a way to do this without using a micro SD card or paying $2.99/MB?

I tried the same with the USB cable and finally gave up and used the micro SD. Then the pics were there on my new HP Touchsmart 600. But I am having trouble pairing the Versa by Bluetooth just like with my car radio. The computer recognizes the phone but when the phone sees the computer it asks if the password numbers are the same as all sorts of different numbers each time it tries to pair. I wonder if maybe Verizon has it locked out so it can't pair with my comp?

Has anyone had any luck with the 600 pairing? Please let me know.

I think the USB cable set up might also be blocked by Verizon so you can't download to a computer, but not sure about that. All it did was charge my Versa. Hopefully the new Droid phones will be better. I have a year to go on my new every two, drats!

Well, after much trial and error was able to pair my Versa using Bluetooth with my new Touchsmart HP 600 all in one and it works flawlessly to transfer data and pictures, awesome!

Must have been an update downloaded recently to fix because it was a breeze to do it, just went into devices and turned on the phone in discover mode and it showed up in the list. Then entered the code it supplied and the phone said it matched and I was good to go, finally.

Haven't tried moving info from the computer to the phone yet but I assume it will work as well as it did from phone to computer. Now if only I could pair the phone with my Pioneer deck in my car I would be ecstatic. I see on the other forums that the new Droid pairs flawlessly with my 7000 BT so maybe LG will wake up and update my Versa to compete? Yeah, right!

Download the driver from here:
http://www.lg-phones.org/lg-versa-drivers-download.html

Once installed, connect your phone using the USB cable to your computer.

On your phone:
Go to the menu, go to Settings, Tools, USB Mass Storage.

On your computer:
Your phone should connect to your computer and Autoplay will ask what you want to do.

Select "Open folder to view files"

This should allow you to view "media, my_flix, my_music, my_pix, my_sounds"

Select whichever data you want and copy it to your PC.

Aren't there any free drivers?  That link you suggested just takes me to some driver software company that charges $30 a year

There was a link on the page:
http://mobilephones.us.lge.com/uploadedFiles/LG_Mobile/PhoneAssets/_Drivers/Verizon/LGUSBModemDriver_Eng_WHQL_Ver_4.9.4_All.exe

^ There is the direct download link. No $30.00 fee, no registration required. It even said it on the webpage, lol...

"Here’s the driver for the LG Versa, please download and install it onto your computer, then you can connect the LG Versa to PC completely. Good luck."

Anyhow, I no longer have a Versa and am transferring my files to my new HTC Incredible. So good luck to you all.

I installed the driver and did everything required on the phone but when I selected USB mass storage it said "card not inserted."  Do I need a micro SD card to access anything from my computer?
