Before you are able to do anything you must install your phone's driver to your computer... I have attached it below!

Topic #1: Music

Ok there are quite a few ways to get music onto your phone, and they are quite simple.

Option#1: connect your phone to the computer with your USB cord, after you have installed the driver below. open My Music on your phone and hit SYNC. Go to My Computer and find your device. it should say something like external or internal music player depending if you have it set to save to phone or card through phone settings. Double click the device, and you should be able to drag songs over.

Option#2: Download VCAST Music player at http://www.vzam.net/vcastmusic/ . Simply attach your phone and open My Music on your versa, and hit SYNC. Your device should appear as a device on VCAST and you can import songs to your device like iTunes.

Option#3: Download BitPim... go to Bitpim.org and run the 1.0.7 version, which detects the versa. For earlier versions you must go to edit-->settings and change the phone type to the dare each time. I will not cover this option because it is too complicated for a beginner user. obviously if you are more advanced you should know how to do this.

Option#4: This only works if you have a memory card. take out your memory card, and insert it in a micro sd to sd adapter. this adapter should be just over 4x the sixe of it, and comes with most micro sd cards. now insert it in an sd card slot in the computer. open the device, and open the folder my_music and drag your songs over to it, there is no need to put them in any other folders.

Option#5: Go to settings and tools--> tools--> USB mass storage only if you have amemory card. this basically gets you into the same area as option 4.

Topic#2/3: Photos and Ringtones

Option#1: recieve them as a text by using this free website: http://www.youmobile.org/mms.php

Option#2: email yourself the pic as a text by using your email to send an attachment by putting your#@vtext.com or @vzwpix.com in the adress bar.

Option#3: use bitpim... again I will not go into this because a more advanced user who will use this option should know how. If you do not, just dont use bitpim and dont risk messing your phone up.

Option#4: Go to settings and tools> tools> USB mass storage to use your phone as a card reader. then go to my_pix and drag and drop... this only works for photos as far as i know.

Topic#3: Videos
There is only one way to do this with two ways to access the same folders. One way is to go to settings and tools> tools> USB mass storage to use your phone as a card reader. Or use the Micro SD to SD adapter as a card reader. Then go to my_flix, and add a video or movie. The movie must be in 3gpp or 3gpp2 format. In order to do this you must use a converter. The converter I use is attached below, and is fairly simple to use.

Thank you for reading, and I hope these tutorials help people out! If you want to learn how to use bitpim read some other instructions. My other post to how to add flash games to the versa uses bitpim, and talks about using it. Best of luck!
