Here's a link for firmware V03: ***If you choose to update your phone yourself, do so at your own risk! ***I assume no responsibility http://www.megaupload.com/?d=5ERGCHDH With that said, anyone wanna give it a try and give some feedback?

I don't have that much of a hard-on to upgrade my phone that badly. The only time my phone locks up is in the music player sometimes.
I'll drop my phone off in the store while I'm out shopping this weekend and have them do it.
Thanks for the link though

I'm downloading it right now, not sure if I'll use it or not, that would suck if I screwed it up. Surprisingly it's an 81mb file and it's compressed. guess I'll check it out when it's done downloading.

instructions might be nice from what i see, you plug phone to comp, load bitpim, go into filesystem and overwrite the "brew" folder with this one. but idk why at verizon this would take 45 minutes..

yeah..... anxious and nervous about this whole thing... especially with no instructions.. anyone have any real instructions? just replacing the brew folder seems a wee bit too easy... doing the OTA check says there is no update, so im skeptical...

Not saying anything about whether you should or should not do this. I'm not ready to chance it at this point myself. But Verizon on my ENV told me 30 to 45 minutes. When I got there it was less than 10... I think in case they have 2 or 3 waiting they say that... Not sure... I was planning on leaving mine for 90 minutes while we ate nearby and they said nah just wait I'll be done in a couple minutes... Just FYI but don't take that as any kind of endorsement to overwrite the brew. I know nothing about that. I'm sure Verizon also checks a couple of things on the phone after upgrading to make sure it worked properly.

Their is an option to check for updates on the Versa, but this option has been on other phones and has not been used.
