It depends what you are looking for. Some features might benefit someone differently than other people. I suggest starting with a comparison of features between the two phones and looking for things that stand out.

The versa is a newer phone with a higher resolution screen and everything the dare has and more except a 3.5mm headphone jack and a slightly better camera. The standard size jack would be nice to have on the versa but bluetooth pretty much make that a moot point. The camera is better but tha does not mean you will take better pics and as far as cameras go the dares camera is still crap compared to ANY poit and shoot.
The User interface on the versa is vastly better with 4 shortcut screens, The versa is years newer, the versa has two modules and potentially more to come, the versa has a vastly superior accelerometer and it looks cooler and fit in pocket than the dare.

I am going with the dare. I feel it works better and has a better camera and larger screen.

Hey i would like to suggest u..
Personal Experience LG doesn't make the best phones out there.They aren't made to last in the long run and often need repairs.With the 'touch' products exposure to heat/sun will make it wonky

LG Dare:
Pros: Good camera. Very fast networking. Unique, customizable interface design.
Cons: Serious responsiveness issues make almost every feature much more difficult to use.

LG Versa
Pros: Cool modular design works nicely. Excellent interface design with plenty of useful shortcuts. Flash-enabled Web browsing.
Cons: Screen can be unresponsive in some apps, especially the Browser. Pathetic selection of messaging apps. Mediocre call quality. No extra modules available at launch.

The LG Versa would probably be better. Touch screen keyboards are always prone to misspellings and mistyping. It is a lot less likely to make mistakes on a physical keyboard like the one Versa comes with. And the good thing is, whenever you don't need it, you can always take it off.
All this really doesn't address the Dare vs. Versa, which I believe are both totally touch screen (?). I would hesitate on that feature...Alike the touch screen on the Voyager for convenience, but having it open to a keyboard and internal screen is better, and I find myself using that more and more.
