LG Versa - headphones only work on the right side.

headphones only work on the right side.

i've purchased 2 different adapters (both have the 3 circles), and new head phones. the music from my phone is only coming out of 1 of the speakers on my head phones.

is anyone else having this problem?

I have heard about problems with Radioshack adapters. I have also heard that the Verizon adapter works well.

The Versa only has a 2.5mm headphone jack, unfortunately. You need to purchase a a 2.5mm - 3.5mm adapter. (Radioshack, Best Buy, etc)

i did buy a 2.5 to 3.5...
and i only bought one of them from radio shack, oh well. i'll just go to verizon, my 30 day thing isn't up untill the 10th.

I had the same problem. I have a feeling that stereo headsets (headphones + mic) don't work in that jack - that it's either for stereo headphones or a mono headset.

I decided to switch to a Bluetooth stereo headset and it's awesome.

My son has no left channel in his Versa. Mine works fine. His didn't seem to work from day 1. We're taking his back to the Verizon store tonight.

I bought 2 adapters in the airport for me and the wife after testing one on her phone. Once on the plane, I tried mine and it didn't work. Went back after the return flight, tried another in the store and it worked. These things seem to be very tempermental.

Radio shack ones are a no go pretty much.

You need to buy an adapter with 2 bands on it. (The little black lines that are on the circle)
Otherwise you will get mono or one side only sound.

I suggest picking up a set of verizon headphones or lg headphones. I got a pair of lg headphones from verizon that are essentially an adapter with headphones (which have a mic and vol control). They are very nice.
