Bluetooth pairing problem

Hello everyone..
Hope you all are having great time. Well, I recently purchased a MacBook from PC Mall through a discount deal available at http://www.dealrocker.com/promotions/pcmall/deals/. Everything is working smoothly, but having trouble while pairing my Versa with it. I am able to transfer stuff from my phone to the laptop without any problem, but can't transfer anything from laptop to my phone. Does Verizon put something in LG Versa to prohibit transferring any files from computer to phone? Can anyone shed some lights on this issue?
