here are some pros and cons of what i have found with this phone with the 6 hrs i have had it for.

PROS

-Very responsive touchscreen ( i kept the protective casing till the actual protective screen comes and overall, works fine even though its kinda sticky)
- 3d "cube" style menu
- comes with three game demos that have unlimited uses (need for speed undercover, monopoly here and now, and pacman)
-the camera and its options
-accelerometer works in every menu except the home (placing this in the removable qwerty keyboard will achieve this). also the speed of the accelerometer is nice
-similar to above, you can turn the qwerty keyboard right and left, instead of on the dare only on the left
-Call quality
-volume of the speaker =) (0-16 and its pretty loud at 10)
-Battery life (like 290 hours of talk time and 18 days on standby ^_^)
-size
-CAMERA WITH FLASH!!!
-ability to text with music on

These are just a few pros i could come up with. now here are some cons:

CONS

-i do not like the leather material on the detachable keyboard
-when on the detachable keyboard you can only call the latest person you talked to (but easy solution would be to open phone, call person, and close the phone back)
-the detachable keyboard adds a lot more bulk than i would like.
-the space button on the detachable keyboard needs a little more pressure to push down its "sticky"
-stylus that comes in the box is totally pointless (imo)
-the camcorder does not pick up sound as well as i hoped
-the vibrate feels and sounds kinda cheap
-and even though its a new phone, i can not find where the themes are to change for this phone!

but overall, a very good buy. 9/10. the main problems are that its new so not everything is out yet. hope a software update will includes themes and whatnot. but the main problems are with the detachable keyboard.

I agree*
*this is when the keyboard is closed, to clarify

I expected the keyboard to be a bit of a hassle, but the phone itself sound pretty cool. Thanks for this.

I don't have mine yet, I will get it when my 2 years is up. Don't hold me to this, but it should be in the settings and tools,display settings,then display themes. Unless you knew that, and you mean more themes.

well, the only options are banner, phone backlight, module backlight, wallpaper, charging screen, menu fonts, dial fonts, menu style (only options are grid menu and smart menu) and home screen order.

I don't think there is then. You can personalize the wallpapers though if you wish, And I take requests for sizing and all Smiley oh, and when you go to display themes->wallpapers, is there something along the lines of fun animations?

Okay, because there is something called flash clocks, something you can add to the phone if it has fun animations.

Big D, I think it would be 50-100$. I'm going to check that out for you next time I go to the mall. It depends on if they make it a voyager upgrade(i think is free) or a new phone for 100$

He's asking that if you had a 2 year contract, =which you can get a new phone after the 2 years run out,- how much did the phone cost (there would be a hundred or two off)

I used to have the Voyager, but upgraded to the Versa yesterday.   This phone is great.  It addressed 99% of all my peeves i had with the Voyager, and i'm very happy so far with the phone.

I'm very glad they changed to the new standard of Micro-USB for charging, which means i won't be breaking the the male end on the charging cable.

I'm not much of a texter anymore, so i really will probably never use the keypad.

All the below are from the perspective of a former Voyager User:

Biggest Faves:
* Media Shortcuts
* Favorites
* Shortcuts
* The TXT Message history grouped by Contact/Conversation
* The proximity sensor that locks and shuts off the display when talking, and unlocks when you pull it away from your face.  No more annoying phone getting locked while you trying to enter some digits when on an automated phone tree.
* The fresher looking interface
* No More sliding button on the side to lock/unlock the phone.  I love the new push button on the top.
* Over The Air software updates,  No more trips to verizon for the "hour long" process.
* How did i ever live without the accelerometer?
* RSS interface (Even though buried in bookmarks)
* Having a Flash Again,  although no flashlight mode.

Biggest Dissapointments:
* Be great if proximity sensor worked in pocket, or if you could disable most of the hard buttons on the phone to prevent accidental pocket dialing.
* Still a 2 MP camera, seriously??
* Seems like there are less apps for the phone in the GetItNow area
* Unlocking Via Screen should be a pattern not a simple Touch here.
